Ivo Alexandre

Born in Lisbon, Portugal in 1974.

He was interested in arts since a very early age, namely in Painting in which he quickly developed skills, standing out in his works.

He studied Painting at the National Society of Fine Arts and dedicated himself to the fine arts in general.

He made Props, Scenarios, Special and Visual Effects for Television, Theatre, Cinema and Advertising, always keeping Painting as his priority.

He is interested in deep, esoteric and even metaphysical issues that somehow he materializes in his canvases full of intensity and mightiness.

He excels with his technique as well as with his choice for less easy subjects which he believes to be highy important and philosophical.

He held several solo and group exhibitions throughout his career. His work is part of several private collections as well as of some city councils’ collections, having been acquired in exhibitions held in the same municipalities.
Currently he continues to work for several exhibitions as well as for national and international private collectors.
